"Where is it?" The sun started to slowly rise in the sky and reflected off of the surface of the ocean. The first morning birds started to sing loudly and three seagulls flew low on the ocean surface looking for their breakfast. In the distance bobbing in the water was the air fortress known to most people as the Iron Volture. Inside the planes were still parked. Last night they all stayed up late watching the cockroach races and most of the crew was still in their rooms fast asleep. Only one certain captain was wide awake. Captain Don Karnage was franticly searching through his closet, tossing out his extra uniforms and boots. "Oooooh, where is it?!" Karnage groaned, he quickly switched from his closet to his dresser drawers and started tossing his clothes out even though he knows that what he was searching for was much too big to fit in the drawers. If he wasn't looking for something he wouldn't dare allow his room to become so messy. It looked as though Aunt Louise had used his room to race gorilla birds. Unable to find what he was looking for, Karnage stood up and paced around the room with his right hand rubbing his chin while his puffy tail swung from side to side. He suddenly stop, "Aha!" he snaped his fingers, "Somebody much 'ave stole it while I was watching the cock-a-roaches run around! Hmm...I've taught my men too well." He shrugged and quickly trotted out of his room and down the hall to the room closet to his; Maddog's room. Karnage grabbed the door knob and swung the door open, he saw Maddog fast asleep. His blanket was hanging off the edge of the bed and Maddog's rear was stuck in the air as a stream of drool trailed down his chin. Karnage frowned and quietly walked over to Maddog's closet. Karnage looked through everything, pulling out Maddog's clothes and tossing them aside. Again, Karnage was unable to find what he was looking for so with a sigh he left to search the other rooms. He searched room after room, but each time he left empty handed. He finally reached Kit's room at the end of the hall, Karnage groaned and opened the door. For a change is saw Kit wide awake and sitting on his bed reading a comic book. He looked up from his comic book and smiled at Karnage. "Hey, Cap'n, you're up early. What's up?" Karnage gave him a sideways frown and crossed his arms over his chest, "Boy, did you take something your muddy little paws did not belong?" Kit looked at him a little confused, "Er...do ya mean did I take something that didn't belong to me?" Karnage waved his hand meaninglessly, "Yes, yes whatever. Now did you or did you not?" Kit smiled, "Now, Cap'n, why would I take any of your stuff? Your stuff is too good for me." Karnage put a hand on his chin and thought for a minute. "This is true. Yes, you could not possiblely 'ave my things. You are not good enough to. Carry on." He turned on his heels and left the room, Kit could hear him grumbling as he walked down the hall to the next room. Kit grined, quickly climbs out of bed, walks over to his closet and opened it. He chuckled he stared at his reflection coming from Karnage's mirror which he had taken last night while everyone was at the cockroach races. "I wonder how long it'll be until he realizes that I have it." The End
